Our Human Rights Policy

Respect for and observance of human rights and fundamental freedoms is the ultimate challenge to and the goal of all human kind.

In  ASELSAN, we ensure that our employees, as well as all our stakeholders, share the same understanding and respect to protect these rights. And in our company, the understanding of these rights and freedoms is of great importance.

According to our Human Rights Policy, under ASELSAN roof, every individual; regardless of race, color, sex, language, religion, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status, is equal. Every individual has the right and the means to communicate his/her needs and opinions as long as he/she is respectable to others' rights. Everyone has the right to life, liberty and security of person and we ensure that no one is subject to torture (physically and psychologically) or to cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment. Every employee has the right to an effective remedy for acts violating the fundamental rights granted to him/her by the constitution or by law.

ASELSAN adheres to minimum age provisions of applicable laws and regulations. We prohibit the hiring of individuals that are under 18 years of age for all positions. Our prohibition of child labor is consistent with International Labor Organization standards.

ASELSAN sets itself high standards in terms of improving working conditions, increasing environmental sensitivity and strengthening relationships with the communities. ASELSAN takes the necessary responsibility for its stakeholders to accept and to conduct with the same standards.
